Getting started

How do I upload a PDF?
Sign in or create an account, then click the upload area or drag and drop your PDF file. Files up to 100 MB are supported. Choose the tool settings before starting the operation.
You can explore every tool and choose a file without an account. Sign in is required before PDFly securely processes a document and makes the result available to download.
Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari with JavaScript and cookies enabled. If an upload does not start, update the browser and try again.

Billing & wallet

Add credit to your PDFly wallet, then use it across the available tools. PDFly reserves the displayed amount while an operation runs, captures it only after a valid result is ready, and releases it if processing fails.
Available payment methods are shown securely in the wallet top-up flow before you confirm a purchase.
Failed operations release reserved credit automatically. Contact support with the operation details if a completed result or wallet entry is incorrect.

Privacy & security

Uploaded source files are scheduled for deletion when processing finishes, while abandoned uploads expire within 24 hours. Generated results remain available in My files for 7 days after processing, then are deleted automatically.
Files use HTTPS transport, private object storage, and short-lived signed access. Documents are not exposed through public storage URLs.
Documents are not public. Your signed-in account and the PDF processing service use temporary, signed access; anyone you share a downloaded file or active link with may also access it.

Troubleshooting

Confirm each file is valid and no larger than 100 MB, then check your connection and try again. Multi-file tools accept up to 50 sources with a 200 MB combined limit.
Compression and image conversion can change visual quality. Keep the original file, review the selected quality setting, and retry with a higher-quality option when the tool provides one.
PDFly records a wallet charge only after validating a result. Contact support with the tool, time, job details, and what looks wrong so the operation can be reviewed.
